Self-Organizing Map of the Cross-border Equity Flow Indicator (X-EFI). The K-means algorithm and Self-Organizing Map have sorted the monthly Cross-border equity flow indicator into five clusters or regimes. Moving towards the top clusters is consistent with increasingly risk-loving behaviour, while the lower clusters are marked by increasingly risk-averse behaviour.
